Miles Davis Celebration

This poster series was created as part of a Miles Davis tribute project to mark the 25th year since his passing. The work was created as hypothetical New York tribute event posters.

Using typography and stencil designs, I created these three posters, each dedicated to a milestone album in Davis’ career.

Taking inspiration from jazz album covers of the 50s and 60s, I employed a bold, simplistic simple style of typography with vivid images of the artist behind.
